The Life and times of Alpha Perry

Today I tried to be very brave for my immunisation boosters, but I'm afraid that I was very scared. I screamed and shouted, kicked and punched and the nurse had to call another lady to help, as I REALLY didn't want to have the two injections.

They tried to bribe me with chocolate and stickers, but I knew better. It was going to hurt, the needles looked scarey and I fought my hardest against them all ... but I lost.

My arms stang all the way home and I wasn't going to let Mama put my top back on as it might've rubbed against my poor arms.

Hopefully they will feel better tomorrow (once I have forgotten all about it).

Today was the first day back at nursery after the very long summer holidays. Mama took me to school in the morning and the first person I saw was Hilary, the headteacher who welcomed everyone at the main door.

As I was on an extended day, I went upstairs to Louise's room, but had a surprise when I reached the top of the stairs. Who was waiting there with the register? Jane, my teacher. Then I remembered that this term my class has moved upstairs. What fun, all new toys and books and great things to play with.

Joining me in Louise's class this morning was Sebastian, Oliver and Tristan, and after lunch when I moved over to Jane's class, I had another surprise. Riley has now moved to my class. We used to go to playgroup together and he is really nice. There weren't many other children in, all the new ones join next week. But some of my old friends were still there; Meghana, Sophia, Ranya, Niriliee, Billy, Riley and Urmi.
