The Life and times of Alpha Perry

Wednesday, January 07, 2004

It is the start of a new year and we all had a wonderful christmas. This year I realised who delivered all the presents, it was Father Christmas. Apparently he lives in the North Pole and on Christmas Eve, he travels all over the world to deliver presents to all the good children.

We went down to Devon to stay with Grandma and Grandad this year and Grandma Books came too. Mama had to write to Father Christmas to tell him where my stocking would be.

We had a lovely time, and I was given some lovely presents from all my family and friends.

On New Year's Eve, we went to Ben's house to a party his parents were having. I joined all the other kids upstairs, while Mama and Papa stayed downstairs talking to the other grown-ups.

My New Year's resolutions are:

1. To learn how to read
2. To learn how to write
3. To stop wiping my hands on my clothes when I am eating
4. To use my knife and fork instead of my fingers
5. To carry on being as lovely as I always am!
